In January, we...

Enjoyed watching our son's love of trains.

In February, we...

Had fun dating our kids...

and prayed for our baby cousin's healing.

In March, we...

celebrated our children's talent, on stage...

and off...

In April, we...
watched our children grow and learn...

and celebrated our Savior's Resurrection and His healing power (rejoiced over His healing of our little one!)

In May, we...
lost some teeth (for the first time)...

and graduated from preschool...

In June, we...
celebrated 8 years of marriage...

finished school and "bridged" from daisies to brownies...

coached and cheered on the cutest t-ball player in the world

In July, we...
swam, swam, swam...

went on vacation...

turned 7...

and had fun visiting Mimi and Pop

In August, we...
enjoyed our last days of summer...

Cheered on Mama as she ran a mini sprint triathalon...

Purchased a doll that took 13 months to save for...

and started school
In September, we...

enjoyed the start of fall and football season

In October, we...
turned 30...

Ken and Abby went to Chicago to celebrate...

started vision therapy...

and were Princess Leia and Spiderman

In November, we...
won a photography award...

turned 6 and had a pirate party...

and gave thanks...

upon thanks

In December, we...
sang in some concerts...

ate a little too much sugar...

and enjoyed each other's company (we had so much fun with Mimi, Pop, Pop-Pop and Uncle Jason that we forgot to take pictures!)

At the close of a year with so many ups and downs, I am struck by these comforting thoughts: That God is faithful and true, He never changes, He is always the same. He is good even in our sorrow, and powerful in our pain and weakness. He is the beginning and He is the end. All of life is found in Him. I have no doubt that 2012 will have it's own share of joys and sorrows, but the same God who brought us safely this far, will be with us until the end. Behold Him making all things new.

"The Lord bless you, and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance on you and give you peace."
Numbers 6:24-26
